22nd March 2013 By ArsenalSupremo

Many World Cup qualifiers were going on today and they were many Arsenal players involved and it proved to be a successful day as Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade Chmaberlain all got on the score sheet for their respective countries. There were also starts for Per Mertesacker for Germany and Podolski came on in the 14th minute of the game as they beat Kazakhstan 3 0 and Podolski became the third most capped German player, with his 108th appearance. Thomas Vermaelen also started for Belgium in which they beat Macedonia 2 0. It wasn't a happy day for Tomas Rosicky as he could only manage a substitute appearance in which his Czech Republic side lost 3 0 to Denmark. Santi Cazorla started for Spain but they could only manage a 1 1 draw to Finland.
